Day 4 - Greenwich Observatory

Note: Photos are on my Panasonic Camera. They will be added here after I get back to Sacramento. The Panasonic app is not compatible with this phone.😡

May 1, 2023  This is Labor Day.  Some european countries take this holiday very seriously. For example, Italy and France close down everything to give all workers a holiday. Fortunately, nothing seemed effected in London, except this is a bank holiday, meaning no banks are open. That is not a problem for us.

We headed out for some breakfast south of the Cricket field. Then, we hopped onto a tube (subway) to get up to the Vauxhall Station, and walked over to the Vauxhall Uber Boat dock. We found seating easily, and enjoyed the trip east.

We wandered around Greenwich for a while. The Clippership, Cutty Sark, is in dry dock here.

We then walked over to the Royal Observatory. We climbed a bit of a hill to get up there. This place is so interesting, and so much fun!

Clowning around on 0° Longitude.

On our way back by boat, we got to see the London Tower Bridge up close and personal.
